PS-6.8    Represent an electric circuit by drawing a circuit diagram that includes the symbols for a resistor, switch, and voltage source.
Key Concepts:
Circuits:  parallel circuit, series circuit
Circuit components: resistor, switch, voltage source
When diagramming electrical circuits one does not have to worry about being artistic. Circuit diagrams are referred to as schematic diagrams because they use simple symbols to illustrate the scheme of the circuit. You should be able to recognize the schematic symbols for wire conductors, resistors, that control circuit resistance, switches, electrical cells in series and parallel, and generators.
Here are a couple of example circuits using these symbols.
